Testing out BlogMailr

Saw this post in my RSS Reader today and Noticed that the post was posted via email from a service called BlogMailr. I thought I would give the service a bit of a try!
If you see this,
I guess it works!

I wonder if it handles:

  • Bullet points
  • More Bullet Points
What about tables:

Column1

Column2

Value1

Value2

Wow, Didn’t know Outlook didn’t do Tables!

So Blogmailr is a service by the Telligent guys that created the Community Server blog platform (I believe its built in .Net but could be wrong) and it uses the Metablog API to convert emails into blog posts and post them to your blog. It allows you to setup valid email addresses for sending the posts (i.e. only allow posts from these addresses) and seems to allow for multiple blogs. They offer a free personal addition and a Commercial addition also which you need to pay for.

I believe you can get a plug-in for Wordpress to allow posts by mail by this is an interesting service none the less.

Check it out if it interests you.
