Audio Comments Update - MyChingo
Sitting in Portland, Victoria, Australia at my mums house and checking out my email. Down here till Friday when I head home to see the Family (hi Hun, Patty and Alex) and the Might Hawks playing the Dees on Friday night.
While I was down here I got a message in regards to a Podcast I did on wanting an Audio Comments System for my blog. Michael from MyChingo contacted me and was wondering why more people hadn’t been using his system, MyChingo. I let him know that one of the things putting people off would be the fact that you need to pay for its use. Having said this, it does look like an interesting application and with Michael’s assistance, I am going to give it a go. Okay, lets face it, me using it is no shot in the arm like if Michael Arrington (of TechCrunch), Robert Scoble or even Cameron Reilly (of TPN) but I guess you only need to start the ball rolling and you never no what you might end up with.
It doesn’t have 100% of the features that I am after but it is definitely a good looking starting point. One of the things I would like to see is the ability to have separate boxes per post.
Anyway, would love it if you give it a go and let me know what you think. Let me know if it works for you or if you have troubles or suggestions. Below is the code that is provided and the rest should be pretty self evident.
Hope you enjoy it.
