AFL site is now podcasting!
It seems that the world of AFL Podcasts just got a new player in the last week or 3. The AFL site is starting to make some of their audio shows available as Podcasts which would seem to be a great move to me. Their flagship Podcast, Mondayitis isn’t as good as the other shows out their (Footytalk.com.au is the best in my opinion) but its worth the time if your an AFL fan.
They also seem to be making there Club shows available which is just a great idea in my opinion. Personally I would love to see them make all their audio and video feeds available but not sure this will happen in the near future.
Anyway, after they fixed up a problem with their feed last week, it seems to be working fine now. Check it out after you listen to the most recent episode of Molly’s Monday Machination - An AFL Podcast.

PS. If anyone from Telstra, Bigpond or the AFL Site are reading this (apart from why haven’t you got me doing a show for you) could you look at the naming and the ID3 tagging of the shows to make it a bit nicer for the people listening to it on MP3 players?

You could go through podOmatic (http://www.podomatic.com/) which integrates K7 (http://www.k7.net/) phone-in comments into their system directly. However, they only allow online recording of comments for registered podOmatic users.
Odeo (http://odeo.com/) is another free service that can actually pull in and showcase your already existing podcast feed and allows for the sending of audio messages without a registration requirement.
I hope one of these might be useful for what you’re diong. I’m using both for mine.
