John So - He’s not only my Bro but its his Birthday this year!
John So, Lord Mayor of the Worlds Most Livable city (actually I think that we are the second most livable city at the moment) has had a lot of press over the last few months. Notably, at the Commonwealth games Opening Ceremony, John got the loudest cheer from the crowd and from then on any mention of his name came with huge cheers of approval. Why you might ask? Its hard to say. Maybe its his cheeky laugh or just how accessible he is. Perhaps its the policies he has for opening the city, who can tell.
From looking at his Wikipedia Entry, I found that there has been a website setup to celebrate his upcoming 60th Birthday. Go over and right a nice note for Johny. You could also go out and buy the song written in his honor, John So, is my Bro. The proceeds go to a good cause!
