Its been a while, been busy
Well its been a while since my last post mainly due to me being busy at work and at home. At work we have been down on numbers and had a conference to prepare for (actually writing this sitting in Melbourne Airport waiting for my flight). At home we have had a hectic run of 4 weekends where I have been out of town for some part of it.
It started 4 weekends ago with a trip home to visit my parents and sister and her family. We had a great time of things there and really found it just to short a stay. I hopefully will post some photos in the next few days when I return from Sydney. I also believe that I have a great video of a Korola that has decide to live in my sisters Gum tree (in the middle of little Portland).
The next weekend after that, we travelled back to Lakes Enterance, where we went late last year, for another holiday. We had a great relaxing holiday where we lazed around the pool and went fishing and playing mini golf (aparently its one of the best mini golf courses in Australia). The fishing trip went very well with me catching 9 little fish (throw most of them back).
Last weekend saw us travel the shortest distance to Ballarat for one of my nieces and a nephews baptism. We had a great time and caught up with just about all our direct family. My brother got an Aquarium and Sea Horses. They are amazing creates and I hope my little video turned out (if it did, I will post it, although it doesn’t really do justice to how amazing and interesting these creatures of the sea are).
Lastly today, I travel up for a one night stay in Sydney. Its a work trip and I am involved in a support forum for my work. Progress are holding this forum as a way to talk to our partners and share ideas on what each organization does for support and what pains they worked through or have and how they have solved them. I am giving a presentation on Remote Access and Control in respect to maintenance and support. Should be interesting. In fact, should probably be boning up on it now!!!
Well thats all I have for now. Not sure when this post will go up. It would have gone up now but I can’t justify the cost of the wireless Internet that Telstra want to charge me.
