Mike Sheahan’s Top 50 in the Herald-Sun
Mike Sheahan has released his end of year top 50 so ready for the debate to start (sure the boys on Footytalk.com.au will discuss it in there next show). Ben Cousins deservedly gets top billing, with Barry Hall a close 2nd.
For the Hawks, three made it. Luke Hodge entered in the top ten at number 8, joining Judd (3) and Luke Ball (6). You would remember that these 3 made up the top 3 in the AFL Draft of 2001 (often referred to as the Super Draft). Spider came in at 13, six spots lower then Dean Cox who tipped him out for All-Australian Ruckman.
The last Hawk to make it? Trent Croad at number 40 is a good reward for a great year.
