From the AFL Blog: A Saintly post-mortem
What a heart breaking loss for the Saints, maybe just as heart breaking as the loss for the Cats last week. The scores weren’t as close and the Swan’s totally out classed them in the end but the Saints where expected to do better. The AFL Blog looked at the Saints in one of the latest posts.
A Saintly post-mortem :
“So now the post-mortems start for the Saints. Grant Thomas will no doubt have his bashers, because Thomas-bashing is a favourite pastime for people inside footy and outside, as well.”
I can’t help wondering if they should have been more careful with the plays they brought back from injures. I guess its easy after the fact but I did think it before the game. A Swans v Eagles Grand Final show be interesting. This week will see an interesting start with the Brownlow but more importantly will be to see if Barry Hall plays or if he is rubbed out.
