20 and 4 comment wrong - It was 24
In the article in Herald Sun entitled “Eddie adds fuel to comments furor”, the following is reported:
“It’s not necessarily whether they did anything wrong, but was it was actually said . . . well, I heard that remark,” McGuire said.
“. . . $20,000 and four, which I took as inference to it has cost him, being (St Kilda coach) Grant Thomas, $20,000 and the four (premiership) points.”
Eddie, you got it all wrong, they didn’t say 20 and 4, they said 24. You know the Channel Seven TV Series starring Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bruer. Perhaps they were discussing how they miss the end of Millionaire to make sure they catch it.
Any way, another case of Media beat up!
